Each different radius tool comes in a different color to easily distinguish between them.

Each tool will also come with a lamination on it to prevent scratches or damage in shipment. (shown in these photos both with lamination on and off) You can easily peel this off, or leave it on if you choose.

Both the STRAIGHTTRACKIT (c) and CURVETRACKIT (c) come with a keystone-shaped male and female end so they can interlock with each other.
|
|
|
Holes in the tools line up perfectly with the holes in Atlas flex track, or you can use other brands of flex track and simply use a pin vice to drill a hole in any tie you select.

Patented 3 piece radius track laying tools for N scale.
Lay a complete radius with ease in seconds! Put the tools between the rails of any brand of flex track and tack the track down through the holes in the gauge. It's that easy!

EXTRATRACKIT(c)
is used to lay both double track curves and create radii that are larger or smaller than the gauges we offer!
For example, if you want a 26" radius curve , simply use the 28" CURVETRACKIT (c) to lay a lightly spiked in curve. Then, below that curve, put an EXTRATRACKIT (c) so it is below the 24" curve (as in the photo), and simply slide the other one along below as you spike the track in. Quickly unspike your 28" radius curve and you are done! For a 30" radius curve, you would put the EXTRATRACKIT (c) above the 28 " radius!
It is really that easy!!!
Patented 2 piece EXTRATRACKIT (c) tool kit is also used to lay perfectly parallel main lines. Place one at the end of your first straight section that was laid with the STRAIGHTRACKIT (c), and then slide the other one along your parallel rail, tacking it down as you go!

Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |
