Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |

| November 30 - BLMA has announced a new release of the Norfolk Southern TopGon Gondolas for delivery late in 2013. This release has the smooth tub "No-Ribs"version cars coming in the G85 & G98 class. Twenty-four road numbers are included and Pre-Orders close at Wig-Wag on January 13th.

| November 19 - Bluford Shops has released photos of the first group of their new cabooses that will be delivered. Since these are samples and are good enough to release to the public we expect that they should ship in the next 90 days. If you have been waiting to see them before ordering watch out cause the barbed wire on the top of that fence can tear badly when you finally decide to jump. We are still accepting Pre-Orders for these. If you don't know first releases of any new tooling sells out very quickly. With the quality of these models they will go even faster. | November 13 - Fox Valley Models has announced a new model - The Milwaukee Road Transfer Caboose will be coming in the 3rd Quarter of 2013. Three variations and six road numbers are being produced. Matt must be stuck on MILW since it seems he has now produced more MILW models than have ever been produced in N-Scale before by all manufacturers combined. November 13 - Bluford Shops has announced a new Body Style - the Wood Chip Hopper using their Offset and Ribbed side Hoppers as a starting point these cars follow the style of side extensions used by the prototype railroad announced. Ten Road Names are coming in this release. YOu must go to our page to see those not shown to the right. As reported by Bluford: "Beginning in the late 50s, wood chips went from
something to be disposed of to a valuable commodity. Since wood chips are less
dense than coal, gravel and other hopper loads, many railroads added high
extensions to standard hoppers for this service. The extensions were simple
affairs, either rib sided or flat sided that were welded to the top chords of

| November 07 - Kato has announced the Re-Release of the third version of the California Zephyr that was originally released in 2007. If you missed those cars now is the time to jump. This re-release is quite the shock. Re-issuing prior numbers is not the norm however the third release was issued in very limited numbers so apparently there were enough requests that Kato decided it was worth the risk. | October 30 - The November Micro-News has arrived. For Z-Scale expect to see the 7th car of the Meat Packers Series, some Union Pacific box cars, a couple of despatch stock cars, and a F7A/B unit. To be sure we receive your Pre-Order place it before close of business (6:30pm MST) Tuesday, November 6th. We begin packing for the Denver GTE Show on November 4th. Phone lines and the storefront will be closed from November 4th through the 14th.
