Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |

September 14 & 15 - "Oh Holy Rails #3!" We will put on our third annual Train Show in Vaughn, NM to assist St. Mary's Church with their annual Fiesta. Our full layout will be setup in the Fire Station once again. Another great idea, come to Vaughn in 51 days, see the N-Trak layout running various railroads including BNSF, MKT, UP, and possibly DRGW, PC & NYC. You can also see , MANY, MANY 12":1' trains on BNSF & UP. And of course the main purpose for us is to participate in the Church Fiesta. June 30 - We will be closed for July 4th starting June 30th thru July 4th. Please have a safe and sober holiday. Here in NM the drought is getting pretty intense so everyone is being encouraged to refrain from fireworks. Back in NY where George was born he had to go across the Peace Bridge to Canada to buy fireworks. It was a great adventure for he and Bruce Epke to do it. Here they seem to be everywhere and have lost the intrigue. Of course a lot of July 4ths have passed since he was 14. 26 21 1 day & counting. |

June 28 - Micro-Trains Line has announced they will begin accepting Pre-Orders for the first release of the EMD SW1500 in August. Deliveries will begin during the Spring of 2014. We do not currently have any part #'s or road Names but the first released are going to be delivered with AAR Type-B trucks so that limits the road names some what . While excellent data is available on Wikipedia they do not list the trucks those locos were delivered with. If you have a reliable reference for that info please send us the url.

June 28 - Micro-Trains Line has announced July N-Scale deliveries of 11 cars including the NEW 65' 100-Ton Log Car in two road numbers as well as a special release of the bi-level auto Rack with the side protective panels which we are accepting Pre-Orders for. | June 15 - We will close early (3:00pm) on Saturday June 15 to travel 785 miles to the USC Keck Medical Center where George will again consult with Dr. Wrobel - one of only two Drs. in the USA that can perform the surgery that has been recommended by Dr. Maghami at City of Hope. His appointment is fairly early on the 17th. If everything goes according to the proposed schedule we should be back in time to open on 06/18. If not we believe we will be back for sure so we can open like normal on the 19th. |

June 12 - NJ International has released a new Injected Molded Plastic Kit, the Fuel Filling Station is the perfect size for a Branchline or Shortline installation. June 08 - Deluxe Innovations' thru their related entity Squeak N Products will be releasing a run of the American Railcar Leasing
(ARL) Construction and Demolition Waste Cars utilizing the DI Deep Rib Wood Chip cars. Pre-Orders for these are open now and hopefully we will get an accurate cutoff soon.
