Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |

June 13 - Micro-Trains® Line has announced the June Z-Scale release is a New York Central three-pack. These cars look just like the cars George saw as a child operating on the NYC branchline thru Barker. That line actually cut the farm in-half that his grandfather operated. Once again these are produced in very limited quantities, SO, if you wait to see them in person you'll likely miss out. Putting it another way If you do not order NOW we may not be able to help you. Pricing goes up once they arrive next week. Don't wait as you will pay more the longer you do.

May 29 - Micro-Trains© Line has announced June Deliveries and Pre-Order items. The SW-1500's are finally starting to arrive beginning with Norfolk Southern! If you need to be current in your switching and branchline service modeling these are the locos for you. Remember these are produced to order and due to the plethora of N-scale products available it is not possible to stock everything, SO, if you wait to see them in person you'll likely miss out. May 23 - Athearn has announced a new release of the Gunderson Husky stack cars for delivery in November or possibly January depending on what you look at. In an case one new paint scheme, one with a variation on the logo and three other schemes with new numbers are coming. If you need to be current in your modeling these are the cars for you.
